Dr. Nogier developed a unique pulse test. This test enabled him to determine that all tissues and organs throughout the body (which develop from three basic embryologic tissues; ectoderm, endoderm and mesoderm) are in resonance (sympathetic vibration) with specific frequencies. Dr. Nogier identified these frequencies as harmonics of the musical note D. This is to say that all the tissues of the body resonate to harmonics of D. Dr. Nogier found that these and other harmonics of D have healing effects. Based on these findings, he designed electronic instruments that delivered seven pulsed energies into the body for the purpose of healing injured or diseased organs and tissues. These pulsed energies induced healing by exposing damaged tissues to their normal resonance frequency. The importance of Dr. Nogier's finding that specific body tissues are in resonance with specific frequencies according to their embryologic origin cannot be overemphasized. According to Dr. McGee, it may (and certainly should) one day be recognized as one of the greatest discoveries of medicine.

According to Dr. Nogier, sickness results when cells, molecules or particles of matter are out of their normal resonance or vibratory pattern. By repeatedly exposing damaged tissue to the normal resonance frequencies associated with that tissue, healing often occurs, sometimes quite rapidly.

    1. (Frequency F, 73 Hz) For use when cellular activity is hypoactive, such as chronic recurring problems, nonunion fractures and chronic splints and for stimulation of osteoid. It is also helpful in activating humoral and endocrine functions. Field work has shown setting 1 helpful in stimulating (tonifying) acupuncture and trigger points and increasing circulation in areas being treated, such as wounds when past the acute stage.

    2. (Frequency G, 147 Hz) For areas of yellow scar tissue that are generally formed internally on tendons, ligaments and sub-acute (lingering but not chronic) conditions. Field use has shown setting 2 to be helpful in reducing inflammation associated with injuries and infections. This is often called the universal frequency because most problems involve inflammation.

    3. (Frequency A, 294 Hz.) For tissue of ectodermal origin, such as body openings, skin and nerve. Field applications include wounds, eye injuries and after surgery. Setting 3 tends to tone tissue while minimizing the chance of hemorrhaging fresh wounds or recent surgical sites. It is also good for the treatment of acupuncture and trigger points, corneal ulcers and ulcerated mucous membranes. This is called the universal frequency in acupuncture.

    4. (Frequency B, 587 Hz.) This frequency appears to be most effective for neuropathy, but also for circulatory and lymphatic stimulation and treatment of tissue of endodermal origin, such as GI tract, liver and pancreas. In field applications, setting 4 has been used in conjunction with 5 and 2 for tendon, ligament, joint and other injuries where reaching secondary levels of tissue is needed.

    5. (Frequency C, 1174 Hz.) For tissue of mesodermal origin, such as bone, joints, ligament, viscera and tendon. Field experience has shown setting 5 to be especially good for tendon and ligament injuries when used with 4 and 2. It also helps in relaxing large muscle groups.

    6. (Frequency D, 2349 Hz.) For chronic conditions not responsive to setting 3 or 5. Field experience shows setting 6 to be a good supplement to 3 when healing processes appear to reach a plateau.

    7. (Frequency E, 4698 Hz.) For pain control, primarily when C nerve fibers are transmitting to dorsal root ganglia and when involvement of neurotransmitters is of physiological importance. Field experience shows 7 to help suppress pain and to sedate acupuncture and trigger points and aid in diminishing excess calcification associated with chips, spurs and arthritic conditions.

Dr. McGee 's Book, and Nogier Light Therapy Frequencies:

    Charles T. McGee, MD

Charles T. McGee, MD has written four books: Healing Energies of Heat and Light - A Quantum Leap in Healthcare (2000); Heart Frauds -- The Misapplication of High Technology in Heart Disease (1993 -- re-published in 2001); and QIGONG -- Miricle Healing from China with Qigong Master Effie Poy Tew Chow, PhD (1994). Dr. McGee's first book was How to Survive Modern Technology (1979). We learn from the introduction and in the tape of his first NOHA lecture in 1982, that Dr. McGee had conventional training "with about 90 minutes of rather poor instruction in nutrition". He took his residency in obstetrics and gynecology. Right after that, in 1965, he went to Ecuador with Project Hope and "treated the medically indigent – which meant the Indian population – about 320,000 Indians living in the province". They lived on a variety of vegetables they grew themselves and occasional meat.

What struck him immediately was the absence of degenerative diseases: NO HEART ATTACKS, NO DIABETES, NO ARTHRITIS, and only FOUR cases of CANCER in a population of over 300,000 in a year. To summarize, in the mountains of Ecuador there was no air pollution and the food was fresh. The Indians "never ate processed foods, refined foods, or any junk foods because they couldn’t afford them. Every bit of food they took was nutritious.

"In contrast, the city people were consuming many modern foods. Soda pop and candy were widely available, and white rice and white bread had been in use for several years. Cases of heart attacks, diabetes, and many other diseases of modern civilization were beginning to appear in the city population, but were absent in the Indians."

Needless to say, Dr. McGee was very much interested by this experience. After returning to the United States he spent a great deal of time looking up studies of other primitive peoples and found the same absence of degenerative diseases on a great variety of diets – as long as they consist of whole, fresh foods. These diets range from the Eskimos’, which is almost completely meat and fish, to others that are almost completely vegetarian. In all these cases, degenerative diseases commence after the introduction of modern refined foods.

In the mid-1970s, he began his search for answers he could not find in Western medicine with his study of acupuncture in France under the world-renowned Dr. Paul Nogier. Dr. McGee states: "But it was what I saw in my many trips to China that changed my life - and the way I practice medicine. There I witnessed healing miracles performed by Qigong Masters, who were able to reverse conditions such as paralysis with their own energy (qi or chi). I had never seen such amazing results with Western medicine." For the past 20 years, Dr. McGee has been working with inventor and Qigong Master, Rodger Estes, who was able to use his own energy-sensing abilities to choose the most powerful energy-related treatment modalities. The machines he chose for his program include pulsed Light Emitting Diode (LED) products, infrared (dry) saunas, and various heaters. The synergy of all these instruments, when used together with a supplemental nutrition program, are able to bring about healing very similar to that provided by the Chinese Qigong Masters. With this combination approach, Dr. McGee has seen healing occur at a very deep level: paralyses reversed, cancers put into remission, non-healing wounds heal, and the symptoms of many other diseases greatly eased.

Dr. McGee has traveled around the world, both studying and teaching about Alternative and Energy Medicines. For the first 15 years after getting his medical degree, he practiced conventional Western medicine, but since 1978, he has practiced complementary and energy medicines. LED Frequencies

    Tissue Resonance Frequencies:

Following the narrative you will find a list of uses of Nogier's frequencies containing information provided by veterinary acupuncturists.

Paul Nogier MD, of Lyon France, is the father of ear acupuncture and "ear medicine." Nogier made a string of new discoveries in the field of acupuncture from the 1950's to about 1990. The Chinese credit him with the development of the ear "map" as an upside down fetus representing the entire body in an organized form. By treating the ear it is possible to treat any part of the body.

In the 1970's he developed his own unique reflex test. He used the tip of his left thumb to feel the "peak amplitude" of the radial pulse of the patient as he or she lay on the back. He then held various materials in his right hand and from arm's length approached the right ear of the patient and observed changes in the pulse.

He later used a frequency generator aimed at different body parts while he felt the pulse for changes. In this manner he discovered three frequencies that were in resonance with parts of the body that were derived from the three basic tissues in embryology. An analogy is how a tuning fork for middle C will make another C tuning fork ring from a distance. He later discovered four more useful frequencies. All of the frequencies are octaves of the musical note D in the International system. These "tissue resonance frequencies" were found to apply to all living animals. He believed that during illness the frequency of tissue is outside normal ranges and healing might occur by treating over and over with the correct frequency.

Although Nogier used colored filters in his diagnostic work he never used light therapy. This step occurred in the United States after he traveled to Canada to present his findings. Veterinary acupuncturists were the first to use this discovery with LEDs. After about 15 years of use the senior group of veterinary acupuncturists pooled their findings into the following list.
